What began in a hayloft in a small town in the Netherlands, with tools in asparagus crates and a van borrowed from in laws, has since grown into a leading company in custom made entrances for high end homes.

Today we have our own high end factory, perhaps the most inspiring showroom in Europe, and a team that exceeds expectations every day. A group that keeps doing what it started with. Showing that it really can be done.

A piece of our history

Different Doors started in 2011 with a clear mission. To make doors that others cannot make. Founder Sil Kuppens began with a van borrowed from his father in law and a stock of tools in his uncle’s hayloft. No standard products. Custom made work from day one.

We took a significant step in our growth in 2016 when we acquired KEMO Productions. This added not only professional machinery, but also valuable knowledge and craftsmanship. A reinforcement that allowed us to realise even greater ambitions.

In 2021 we began a new chapter. The construction of our new headquarters. In Budel now stands the first business building in the Netherlands to meet the energy requirements of 2050. This is also home to our headquarters and production facility.

Today we are more than 70 craftspeople strong. Each with their own specialism, but all with the same goal. To create entrances that exceed expectations.
