At first glance, this appears to be a beautiful home with a wooden garage door by Different Doors. The warm brown tones and distinctive grain pattern immediately catch the eye. Yet appearances can be deceiving. No wood was used for this garage door. Instead, this project was completed using Millboard, an innovative low maintenance material that perfectly recreates the authentic appearance of timber.
In collaboration with architectenbureau Drijvers, we created a garage door that blends seamlessly into the façade. No visible transitions, no interruptions, just a clean and continuous architectural surface.
Both the garage door and façade cladding are finished with Millboard, a low maintenance material renowned for its durability. It is UV resistant, weather resistant, stain resistant and splinter free, allowing it to maintain its beautiful appearance for years regardless of the conditions.
