For this newly built home, we created a wooden pivot front door and a side sliding garage door in one consistent design language. Both doors are finished in Shou Sugi Ban, resulting in a bold, dark appearance that perfectly complements the architecture of the property.
The pivot door measures approximately 1.8 metres wide and 2.5 metres high. It operates on the FritsJurgens pivot system, allowing the door to rotate smoothly around its axis. As the door opens, the movement slows naturally and remains perfectly in the open position. When closing, the movement is dampened to ensure a controlled and silent operation. The door is installed within an aluminium frame and provides an airtight seal thanks to a double sealing system at both the top and bottom.

The side sliding garage door provides access to a spacious garage and moves neatly alongside the façade, fully aligned with the architectural design of the home. Whether entering through the pivot door or parking in the garage, both entrances make an immediate impression.
Charred timber with a deep, dark tone and visible grain structure. This traditional Japanese finishing technique enhances the natural beauty of the wood while helping to protect it against weather and moisture.
The door rotates effortlessly around its axis with a controlled movement. The system slows the door when opening and dampens it when closing, ensuring a smooth and refined user experience.
