For this exceptional home, we had the privilege of creating a striking entrance composition. A generous pivot front door is combined with a wooden garage door, both executed in exactly the same style. Both doors are finished in the same dark wood, featuring vertical slats in varying widths. This subtle variation creates a refined rhythm and adds depth and visual dynamism to the façade.
As the front door, we installed an impressive pivot door, fully custom made and fitted with a concealed frame for a minimalist finish. Despite its generous dimensions of 2.25 metres wide and 3.2 metres high, the door opens and closes effortlessly thanks to the high quality FritsJurgens pivot system. As you walk down the driveway, you are guided towards a 5.6 metre wide wooden garage door, installed flush with the facade and fully integrated into the design. Closed, it forms one powerful wall; open, it reveals a spacious garage beneath the home.
A pivot door used as a front door creates a unique arrival. Grand, stylish and impressive. Not only in appearance, but quite literally in its generous dimensions as well.
Thanks to the FritsJurgens pivot system, we can make pivot doors without limits on dimensions or weight, while the door still opens and closes effortlessly.
The pivot door is fitted with an electric motor lock, which automatically locks the door after use.
