This newly built barn was designed to have a distinctive and characterful appearance. The brickwork, the arched opening, the small windows and the tiled roof all contribute to this atmosphere. The two wooden sectional doors in a classic style integrate seamlessly into this architectural vision.
The large sectional door at the front measures nearly 4.5 metres in height and 3.5 metres in width, making it a true statement in scale. When opening, the door moves upward in sections and disappears behind the arched brick wall. At the side of the barn, a second sectional door has been placed, aligned with the top of the facade. This door measures 3.5 by 2.9 metres and features the same calm vertical lines. The natural grain pattern of the Afrormosia wood is clearly visible in both doors, adding warmth and depth to the design.
Details such as the closing strip, threshold and subtle finishing elements give the doors the appearance of traditional barn doors. Behind this classic look lies modern sectional door technology, ensuring smooth and effortless operation.
The large garage door follows the curve of the brick arch in the facade. When opening, the door moves inward and upward, preserving the characteristic shape of the arch while providing full access to the space behind it.
